According to The Seattle Times, a Conyers, Georgia man has been accused of DUI and public drunkenness while operating a motorized wheelchair inside a grocery store.
Multiple media outlets are reporting that the 48-year-old Georgia man was cited Friday at a Kroger supermarket.
The incident report states that Conyers police were called to the scene and found the man backing into the building and driving over plants. He was cited after he submitted to a breathalyzer test.
Police say that the man informed them that he had taken anti-anxiety medication, an anti-depressant, and drank a pint of alcohol.
