According to KING 5 News, a minor accident involving a Ride the Ducks vehicle briefly blocked traffic at the intersection of Mercer Street and 5th Avenue N, but caused no injuries.

The crash happened around 3:15 p.m. Thursday in the lower Queen Anne neighborhood. Southbound 5th Avenue N at Mercer Street and the westbound lanes of Mercer were blocked. Photos from the scene showed the collision involved a Ride the Ducks boat and a burgundy Toyota Camry.

Seattle Fire Department said there were no injuries.

Police say both the car and the duck boat tried making a left turn from separate lanes before the wreck occurred. Within an hour, the vehicles were moved from the intersection and traffic resumed.

A different type of repurposed military vehicle used by the tour company was involved in a September crash that killed five international college students and injured dozens of others.

The company was allowed to resume some tours in January after altering their routes and adding a second guide on the tours. They’ve also admitted to 463 safety violations and agreed to pay $222,000 in penalties to settle a Washington state complaint.
