Seattle Named in Top 10 Cities to Watch 4th of July Fireworks

As the 240th birthday of the United States of America, cities and households around the country are preparing to celebrate Independence Day with a boom, or two…or several thousands.

Seattle has been named by USA Today as one of the top 10 places to watch fireworks in celebration of the 4th of July holiday.

With plenty of food, music, games and two beer gardens, the Seafair Summer Fourth at Gas Works in Seattle provides a great festival leading up to the 21-minute fireworks display over Lake Union.

Families and friends gather to participate for 4th of July celebrations, however those who consume alcohol throughout the festivities should plan designated drivers for the drive home.  Many DUI patrols will take place over the weekend through the Seattle and surrounding areas and it is always important to drive safely and sober.
