According to Komo News, a 19-year-old passenger has died and three others were injured after the driver lost control and crashed into a utility pole overnight, the Washington State Patrol said.

Troopers said speeding and driving under the influence were the cause of the crash that took place on I-5 near Tacoma around 12:30 a.m on Saturday February 27th.

The driver, a 25-year-old male from Tacoma, was traveling northbound when he tried to take the exit to Port of Tacoma, and lost control. Three other men, ages 26, 25, and 19, were passengers in the vehicle.
