Suspected DUI Driver, Teen in Stolen SUV

According to Komo News, police spotted an SUV weaving its way down Capitol Hill on Monday and expected to find a drunk driver behind the wheel.

Police officers stopped the Chevrolet Suburban and found a 16-year-old girl behind the wheel.  Upon pulling the teen over, the officers discovered that the SUV had been reported stolen.

The teen told officers that a “random guy” gave her the vehicle, but police didn’t buy the story and arrested her.  She was booked into Youth Services Center for investigation of possessing stolen property.

A teenage passenger was taken to the Spruce Street Crisis Residential Center.
