Driver Arrested for Possible Marijuana DUI After Running Over Motorcyclist

According to Q13 News, a driver was arrested for suspicion of DUI Monday after allegedly running over and trapping a motorcyclist on MLK Jr. Way in Seattle.

Seattle fire officials said a 30-year-old motorcyclist was hit and trapped underneath a car around 1:00 p.m. on Monday September 8th near the intersection of MLK Jr. Way South and East Pike Street.  The motorcyclist was taken out from underneath the car and subsequently taken to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries.

Seattle police stated that the driver of the car was arrested for driving under the influence.  Police believe that he was high on marijuana, and will undergo a blood test.
