3-Car Crash in Puyallup Hurts 2 People, 1 Seriously

Recent reports from The News Tribune state that a three-car crash in Puyallup on Saturday evening around 5 p.m. sent two people to the hospital, one with life-threatening injuries.

A truck driven by a 32-year-old man was westbound on River Road when it collided with a Volkswagon Jetta in the turn lane at River Road and 15th Street Northwest.  The truck then hit a Ford Focus head-on that was eastbound on River Road.

The driver of the Focus, a 50-year-old woman, had life-threatening injuries and was taken to Tacoma General Hospital.  The driver of the truck was also taken to Tacoma General, but did not have life-threatening injuries.  The driver of the Jetta, a 46-year-old Seattle man, was not injured.
