86-year-old Wrong-Way Driver on I-5 Causes Crash, Arrested for DUI

According to Q-13 Fox News, an 86-year-old wrong-way driver accused of causing a three-vehicle accident on southbound I-5 near the Tacoma Dome Monday night was arrested for DUI.

The collision closed all southbound lanes of I-5 for more than an hour Monday night.  There were three people injured, according to Washington State Patrol.

The 86-year-old was charged with vehicular assault and booked into jail after a trip to the hospital.  According to the Washington State Patrol, the 86-year-old was driving a 2011 Toyota RAV-4 the wrong way in the center lane when he hit the other two vehicles head on.
