According to the Seattle PI, four people including a 2-year-old girl were injured in a multi-vehicle crash late Sunday on I-5 near Alderwood.
Alcohol and drugs were believed to be a factor in the crash.
Washington State Patrol reports that the southbound ramp from I-5 to I-405 was closed due a previous crash around 10:15 p.m. and traffic was stopped when a 2001 Ford Focus driven by a Kenmore man failed to slow down.
The Focus slammed into a Suzuki Sidekick that was stopped, which pushed into a 2010 Mazda. Meanwhile, the Focus kept going, crashing into a 2010 Mercedes SUV and a 2005 Acura before coming to a stop.
The drive of the Focus was injured, as well as the drive of the Suzuki and his two passengers, including the 2-year-old girl.
