Holiday DUIs

Law enforcement in Pierce County has increased DUI patrols throughout this holiday season, according to The News Tribune. Extra officers will be patrolling the roads until January 1, 2014 as part of the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign.


An average of 49 people were killed in traffic accidents statewide from 2008 to 2012, according to the Washington Traffic Safety Commission.
