According to CBS 4 Denver News, police say the 27-year-old Denver man was drunk when he drove a Dodge he borrowed into a Volkswagen Jetta. The Jetta was parked across from where Francisco Villa lives.
“We just heard a boom,” said Villa, explaining the sound his neighbor’s car made after being shoved well into his bedroom at 2 a.m. Saturday.
Luckily for Villa he was in his living room entertaining friends. He said he ran outside, grabbed Estala and pinned him to the ground before the police arrived.
“Was he begging for you to release him?” CBS4’s Howard Nathan asked.
“Yeah,” Villa responded.
“What was he saying?” Nathan asked.
“‘Let me go, let me go, please. I have some probation.’ You know, things like that.’” Villa said.
Mailboxes were knocked over before and after the Jetta, parked on a front lawn, was shoved across the street and rolled downhill, splitting a 22-foot gap between a tree and a fence. Nobody was injured.
